Silver Medal, Best of des Crémants d'Alsace
This Crémant d’Alsace is composed of Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois and Pinot Gris
Only perfectly healthy grapes are used to obtain the greatest finesse and liveliness in the crémant. The grapes are pressed whole (without having been previously crushed or destemmed). The juice undergoes its first fermentation in an inox tank.
It is in the bottle, during the formation of foam, that the wine acquires its elegance and fullness. The long contact with the lees (at least 24 months) and the remuage provide fat that balances the beautiful freshness of the wine. This lees is eliminated at the time of disgorging and is replaced by the expedition liqueur. A few months of rest after disgorging allow the wine to regain its harmony.
Sight: Fine delicate bubbles and a beautiful golden colour
Perfumes: The nose is open, with pear, vanilla, cinnamon and linden-tree aromas
Taste: The mouth is well-rounded with a crystalline acidity. The wine is full with good length.
